Will County Fair Opens In Peotone

The Will County Fair kicks off Wednesday, August 21st in Peotone, and runs through Sunday. This is the 116th year of the fair which boasts rides, food, a chili cookoff, a baby show, family games and so much more.

Wednesday is Family Day, Thursday is Seniors Day, Friday and Saturday are Demolition Derby Days. A Tractor Pull Demonstration on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. is free in the grandstand.

WJOL’s Kevin Kollins broadcasts his show live from the fair from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday in front of the fair office building.

General Admission is 5-dollars. Children 9 and under can attend free of charge. Most grandstand events are an additional $10.
