Chance for a wintry mix of rain, sleet and wet snow on Tuesday evening. More significant threat for snow arrives Thursday afternoon/evening with a chance for 2-3″ snowfall. We are back to a colder pattern beginning Tuesday that will last for another 10 days. This is more polar air than arctic air. However, the area of high pressure is much larger and is expected to produce a long period of northeasterly winds down the length of Lake Michigan which could produce a 2 to 3 day period of Lake Effect snow.
