Charges filed in fatal Bolingbrook shooting

Murder charges have been filed in the shooting death of a man on the 300 block of Walnut Circle on Monday. Numerous area law enforcement agencies responded to assist in locating the shooter, who fled prior to police arrival. The suspect, Timothy Terrell Davis, 28, of the 300 block of Walnut Circle, was located in Joliet on Monday afternoon and taken into custody by the Will County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Davis is alleged to have shot his brother, Devon D. Davis, after a domestic dispute. After a thorough investigation and consultation with the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office, Davis was charged with the following offenses:

 

  • Three Counts – First Degree Murder
  • Armed Habitual Criminal
  • Unlawful Use of Weapon by a Felon

 

On Wednesday, Davis appeared before a Will County Court and was ordered to be detained in the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Due to the collaboration of numerous law enforcement agencies and the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office, the suspect was quickly apprehended, and the investigation brought to a swift conclusion.
