Commissioner Asks Bears To Consider Country Club Hills For Stadium

Cook County Commissioner Monica Gordon is asking the Bears to consider Country Club Hills as a possible site for a new stadium. In a letter sent to team leadership last month, Gordon touted the south suburb’s proximity to three major highways, the Metra electric line, and the State of Indiana as reasons to build the stadium there. The team has been in talks with Chicago and several suburbs about potentially moving out of Soldier Field. In September of 2021, the Bears signed a purchase agreement for Arlington Park and have been in the process of demolishing the facilities.
