Dangerously Hot Weather Expected To Hit Chicago Area This Week

The Chicago area is bracing for some dangerously hot weather later this week. The National Weather Service says temps could reach the mid to upper 90’s Thursday through Saturday. Head index values could approach 110 degrees. People are asked to drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
