Illinois State Police are asking for witnesses to a fatal crash on Friday after a vehicle leaves the scene of an accident. On Friday, July 17th around 11 a.m. a vehicle travelling eastbound on I-80 at Oak Park Avenue began to change lanes to the right and struck the back end of a motorcycle. The motorcyclist lost control and struck the left guardrail and was ejected. The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash fled the scene.

Will County Coroner’s Office releasing the name of the motorcyclist who was killed following a crash with another vehicle. The fatal crash happened on Friday, July 17th at 11:15 a.m. Sixty-nine year old Tony Mosely of Lansing, Illinois was pronounced deceased at Silver Cross Hospital ER. The accident took place on eastbound I-80 at Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park. Two lanes were closed for four hours on Friday.
