A federal judge is allowing a lawsuit challenging the Chicago location of the planned Obama Presidential Center to proceed. The judge ruled yesterday that the environmental group Protect Our Parks has enough legal ground to bring some of its objections before him. The ruling could delay construction of the 500 million dollar campus on South Side lakefront property in Jackson Park. The suit contends it is illegal for the center to be built on public park property.
