Governor JB Pritzker will be in Joliet today. The governor is signing the historic, bipartisan 45-billion dollar rebuild Illinois Capital Plan. The governor is making a number of stops throughout Illinois to highlight how rebuilding our roads, bridges, universities and crime lab will support more than 500-thousand jobs statewide. Governor Pritzker will visit the Joliet Waste Water Treatment Facility–this location provides a view of the I-80 bridge that spans the Des Plaines River Bridge and how the capital bill will help repair the bridge and I-80. Joliet will be one of four stops by the governor today. East St. Louis, Springfield and Chicago round out the governor’s schedule today.
