Illinois Expanding Use Of Expressway Cameras

Illinois is expanding the use of expressway cameras. Governor Pritzker two pieces of legislation to increase the number of cameras in certain counties, including Boone, Champaign, Grundy, Henry, LaSalle, Peoria, Rock Island, Sangamon, and Winnebago. The expansion is designed to empower law enforcement agencies to investigate criminal activities along expressways and State highways.
