Illinois Senate Approved Pritzker’s Appointees For Prisoner Review Board

The Illinois Senate is giving the go ahead to a pair of Governor Pritzker’s appointees to the state’s Prisoner Review Board.  Ex-Cook County Judge Robin Shoffner and former Republican Governor Bruce Rauner’s chief of staff Rodger Heaton received full Senate approval early Saturday, along with two other appointees who were awaiting action.  The confirmations come after two of Pritzker’s appointees failed to win Senate approval last month.  A third appointee resigned.
