Illinois Senate Cancels February Session Days

The Illinois Senate will be working remotely for the next month. The upper chamber yesterday announced it is canceling all in-person session days for the month of February. Committee hearings will be held remotely and online. Lawmakers canceled most of last year’s spring session because of the coronavirus. It’s not clear if they will do the same this year.
