Local Group Announces Scholarships For High School Seniors In Joliet
Joliet Unity Movement is proud to announce the Loretta Westbrooks Scholarship Application has been extended through March 15, 2023. Friend and late board member Loretta Westbrooks was a fierce advocate for education. The Joliet Unity Movement is honoring her legacy through Two (2) $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors in the area.
Interested seniors should submit a written or video biography about who the applicant is, be sure to include name, and contact information. In addition, a one page PDF essay on “How you would like to change and positively impact the community.” Email the PDF essay along with the Biography in print or video to [email protected].
We have great pride in our message that has resonated with youth and their families alike to Stop Violence in our communities.
