Local State Rep to Run for State Senate

A local State Representative has announced that he will be running for State Senate. John Connor, of the 85th House District, has announced that he will run the seat of the 43rd Senate District. This news comes after current State Senator for the 43rd District Pat McGuire announced that he will not run for another term. Connor has served in the 85th District since June of 2017 when he took over for Emily McAsey, who resigned after her husband accepted an out of state job. The 43rd State Senate District is up for election in November of 2020.
