New Illinois General Assembly Sworn-In Today

A somewhat new crop of Illinois lawmakers will take the oath of office today. The new General Assembly will start its two year term this afternoon in Springfield. Democrats will, once again, have total control over both the Illinois House and Illinois Senate. This is the state’s 101st legislative session.
