Pritzker Administration Seeks Dismissal Of Part Of Bailey’s Lawsuit

The Illinois Attorney General’s Office is asking a judge to dismiss part of Representative Darren Bailey’s lawsuit against Governor J.B. Pritzker.  Bailey’s lawsuit claims Pritzker exceeded his authority and violated Illinoisans’ civil rights by extending the stay-at-home order.  A Clay County Circuit judge ruled last week that Pritzker’s  emergency powers ended on April 8th.
