Governor J.B. Pritzker is expected to sign a bill that would expand voting access across Illinois. The measure, which passed 48-to-7, would establish permanent drop boxes outside of polling places. It would also require election officials to accept mail-in ballots, regardless of postage paid. There are also provisions for allowing curbside voting.
