Republicans Disagree With Pritzker’s Plan To Rebuild Illinois

Some Republicans disagree with how Governor Pritzker’s plan to rebuild Illinois will be implemented. Republicans said recently that they’re concerned that projects for Democratic members of the General Assembly are getting more funding than projects in Republican jurisdictions. Some House Republicans say the capital plan is full of pork, granting favors in exchange for support. Pritzker says much of the investment is in areas of downstate Illinois represented by Republicans.
