Secretary Of State Extends Driver’s License And State ID Expiration Dates

The Illinois Secretary of State’s office is extending expiration dates for driver’s licenses and ID cards once again. It will be extended until July 31. The extension does not apply to commercial driver’s licenses and CDL learner’s permits. Letters are being delivered to customers with expired licenses requiring them to renew online, by phone, or by mail.
