Two Finalists Named To Replace Lausch

Two former assistant U.S. attorneys are being named finalists to replace John Lausch as Chicago’s top federal prosecutor. April Perry and Sergio Acosta were selected by U.S. Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin after a screening process. Lausch announced in January that he was stepping down. He was nominated by former President Donald Trump and sworn into the post in November 2017.
