Air Quality Alert Extended Through Tonight

An Air Quality Alert that was supposed to expire last night has been extended through today. That’s as poor air quality continues to plague the Chicago area. It’s caused by smoke from wildfires in Canada. As of early this morning, IQAir listed Chicago as the worst city in the world when it comes to air quality. The alert is now set to end at midnight.
